Joining me is Matthew, an expert in the field and the lead instructor for our Executive Development Programme in Narrative Voice Over for Medical Education Videos. Matthew, welcome to the show!
MATTHEW: Thanks for having me, Charlotte. It's great to be here.
CHARLOTTE: So, Matthew, let's dive right in. Our programme is all about empowering medical professionals and educators to harness the power of storytelling in their work. What inspired you to create this programme, and what do you hope our students will gain from it?
MATTHEW: Well, Charlotte, I believe that storytelling has the power to transform the way we learn and engage with complex information. In medical education, this is especially crucial, as we're dealing with sensitive and high-stakes topics. By learning the art of narrative voice-over, our students will be able to create patient-centered educational content that resonates with diverse audiences. We want our students to gain expertise in scriptwriting, audio production, and narrative techniques that will help them stand out in their careers.
CHARLOTTE: That's fantastic. I know that many of our listeners are medical professionals or educators who are looking to elevate their careers. Can you tell us more about the career opportunities that this programme can lead to?
MATTHEW: Absolutely, Charlotte. With the skills and knowledge gained from our programme, our students can open doors to exciting career opportunities in medical education, healthcare communication, and content creation. They can work as medical education specialists, content creators, or even start their own production companies. MATTHEW: Our programme is designed to be hands-on and collaborative. Students will participate in expert-led workshops and masterclasses, where they'll learn about narrative techniques, scriptwriting, and audio production. They'll also have access to state-of-the-art recording studios and equipment, where they'll work on collaborative projects with industry partners. By the end of the programme, our students will have a portfolio of work that showcases their skills and expertise.
CHARLOTTE: That sounds incredible, Matthew. Finally, what advice would you give to our listeners who are interested in joining the programme?
MATTHEW: I would say that this programme is perfect for anyone who is passionate about storytelling and medical education. We're looking for students who are eager to learn, collaborate, and push the boundaries of what's possible in medical education. If that sounds like
